Four people were injured Sunday evening, May 10, in a two-car
accident that took place in Pine Mountain.
The accident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. at the intersection of
US Hwy. 27 and Dallas Mill Road.
Chepre’via Copeland, who resides on Crawford Creek Road in

The Honda was struck by Gregory Gates, a resident of the Warm
Springs area, who was driving a GMC pickup.
Two ambulances from Harris County EMS, Pine Mountain Police
Department, Georgia State Patrol and Pine Mountain firefighters were
dispatched to the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were judged to be the most seriously
injured. They were treated at the scene by paramedics and
transported to West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange; neither
appeared to suffer life-threatening injuries.
There were two juveniles in the Honda that suffered minor injuries.
Both were treated at the scene firefighters while the second
ambulance was enroute. They were subsequently transported to West
Georgia Medical Center in the second ambulance.
